The Fontenay head sommelier Stefanie Hehn invites you
What happens when three absolute wine experts meet and have to find the right wine for a secret menu in a creative competition? As already proven at the summit meeting in Golling, a cheerful and amusing evening will follow on February 20, 2025 with top sommeliers Marc Almert and Alex Koblinger alongside Fontenay head sommelier Stefanie Hehn in Hamburg. On this evening, guests can expect a multi-course menu with exciting wine pairings and an exchange with well-known experts in their field at the Lakeside restaurant.
The special thing about this evening: the three stars of the international sommelier scene will only find out shortly before the start of the dinner which dishes the kitchen team led by Julian Stowasser will be serving that evening. Now speed and creativity are required and the guests can then test for themselves which of the selected wines and drinks best suit their creations.

Who are the three sommelier stars you can look forward to?
- Stefanie Hehn is Master Sommelier and Sommelier of the Year 2019 by Gault & Millau. She has been responsible for all wine matters at The Fontenay as Head Sommelière since 2017.
- Marc Almert was named ASI Best Sommelier of the World in 2019 and is Head Sommelier at the 5-star luxury hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich and Head Sommelier & member of the Bar au Lac Vins management team.
- Alex Koblinger is a Master Sommelier and 9-time Sommelier of the Year. Since 2016 he has been Head of Wine at Döllerer's headquarters and Service and Quality Manager for Döllerer's Weinhaus.
